Quick question, how often do you zoom into photos from photosets?

I ask, because I have always shot everything on NN at the lowest possible ISO 1-200 (for those photo nerds out there who know what I’m talking about) this makes the photos very smooth with no noise or grain in them and lines very crisp, even all the way zoomed in.

However it also means I need LOTS of light to shoot. I am trying to decide if I think it’s OK or not to bump the ISO up to 4-500 to get photos in lower light. The different isn’t super noticable when you are looking at the photos zoomed out(of course I can see some difference b/c it’s my work) but when you zoom in you definintly can tell.

So my question is, how often do you zoom into photos? Is them being super crisp and clear zoomed in really far, very important to you? Of course it’s prefirible but if I cannot get the ISO very low but it isn’t always possible with natural light which is very much my preference.

I have shots a few sets indoors, using strobe lighting and was able to get the ISO down very low, but honestly, I’m not the biggest fan of the results. I’ll be putting one or two up soon and let me know what you think!

    Best,
    Nikki

Speaking as someone, who isn´t very tech savvy, my answer is a simple one. I never zoom in.

I know you asked this almost 5 years ago, but I’ll respond to it anyway, hoping it might be useful. I do zoom in to photos quite often, but I don’t think that using a higher ISO of 400-500 would make too much of a difference (despite the fact that I’m a pixel peeper myself). I personally wouldn’t mind a higher ISO, even if I noticed it. I reckon both the cameras’ builtin NR and especially the ones in photo editing tools, such as LightRoom are good enough.

  5. you are just absolutely beautiful-I do zoom in I like to see nipple hair etc up close

thank you! good to know. I figured many people do like to see the hair up close so I think I should keep shooting at low ISO’s to preserve the quality.

  6. These beautiful hairy nipples are killing me. Yes, I often zoom in to see every detail and sometimes try to count all these fantastic hairs.

Who says man are the hairier gender? I can`t keep up.

Haha, should I do a photoshoot of just my nipple hairs? haha, or just close ups of all my hairs, I have a video coming up soon that is a body tour of myself with close ups of all the hairs but maybe a pic set should accompany it.
